First Look: Using Three.js for 2D Data Visualization
Update: I have a new post on Using three.js for 2D data visualization. It contains all the stuff I learned while working on the project and is the place you should look for updated code. This post may still be interesting if you want to see my thoughts when I first started on the project. We’ve started work on our next prototype. While the design is still evolving, we’re pretty sure one element of it will be a visualization of tens of thousands of data points, clustered through a dimensional reduction algorithm (most likely using T-SNE).
