Another day, another update - this time we've replaced ranking with more fair scoring system for our engineers. Many of you have been climbing in the ranks of GrabCAD since joining the community. The ranking has been relative and dependent on how other member engineers act and what they do on the site. In  the latest update, we've changed that into a fairer and more clear system. It's not about relative ranking any more, but direct rewarding. Thus should encourage new members to learn and use different features, and long-timers to appreciate the quality and professionalism of the CAD models and content on the site. Therefore, the new scoring system is built in a way that: You will get your first points for your own activities. The more you try out different features, the more points you'll get. To get a significant increase in your score, you are encouraged and should be motivated to share CAD models as you continue to receive points if the rest of the community appreciates your models and does something with them. Also, quality matters for Q&A. The better answers and tutorials you add, the more engineers your feedback helps out, the more your score increases. This is […]
