10 interesting CAD models from the past couple of weeks - GrabCAD Blog

SolidWorks World 2017 is quickly approaching and with the event on the horizon we've decided to make this month's theme centered around the top models created using SolidWorks. Check out the most interesting ones below: This model of a mountain bike absolutely blew my mind! Every single part, from handlebars to the gears, to the shock springs, to individual links in the bike chain, everything is presented in stunning detail. An excellent model of a robotic arm, ready for the assembly line. I used to work in a lab filled with these, so it brings back memories... Hans has created an excellent model of a space station here. I love the massive downward-pointing antenna, which would presumably beam messages to/from whatever planet lies below. And the small ship approaching port V4 is a nice touch. I'm no expert on CNC technology, but this looks like an impressive piece of milling machinery! I would trust this with my drilling and cutting tasks. What I would give to be at the wheel of one of these beauties! Again the detail of this model goes above and beyond. Even the racing seats inside are rendered. Authentic model of an Arduino microcontroller, paired with […]
