Ok theory time! You know who I think is the man in the mask who wants ZY’s core and runs evil org? ZYC’s beloved seemingly dead older brother. @aysekira agrees with me. Anyone else also think so? Why? 1. Mask means it has to be someone who’d be shocking to us ie someone’s face we’ve seen elsewhere. 2. Wang Duo plays the brother in flashbacks. I know GJM loves cameos but it’s a little odd to cast him in a nothing role. 3. The Camp only became prominent when the demon hunter bureau was destroyed by Zhu Yan and bro and dad “died.” 4. Would explain why the guy is fixated on getting ZY’s core (side note - maybe he was involved in why ZY got controlled by malicious energy since it doesn’t seem a regular thing.) 5. I was thinking of MJTY and Zhao Linghe’s beloved good dead brother who died with their dad and then turned out to be neither dead nor good. Remind you of anything with that set up? And GJM likes to return to the same themes and do them with variations and explore them; especially sibling stuff especially maximum pain.
