FACES 2025 Application Form

Please fill out this application form in English to apply for the FACES 2025 Summit. The application for candidates applying from China has closed. For candidates applying from the United States, please apply by December 1st, 2024, at 23:59 Pacific Time. About Us: The Forum for American-Chinese Exchange at Stanford (FACES) is an international organization based at Stanford University, representing a global network in the United States and China. We dedicate ourselves to establishing dialogues among university students in both countries, promoting mutual understanding, and connecting future leaders. We have partnered with four universities in Beijing, Hangzhou, and Shanghai, and have developed an alumni community of over 800+ professionals, scholars, and leaders across the world.  Summit Details: January 20, 2025, to January 26, 2025, at Stanford University. The summit will cover everything for participants besides transportation to and from Stanford. Summit participants are required to pay for their own transportation. Financial aid is available for students with demonstrated needs.  Candidate Selection: This year, we will select around 40 students to participate in the summit. Twenty of them will be from Chinese universities. We will look at the following criteria when selecting summit participants: 1. Age 18-28 during the conference; 2. Current undergraduate students in credible educational institutions; 3. Demonstrated English ability to satisfy small-group academic discussions; 4. Demonstrated interest in US-China relations and willingness to contribute to the summit.
