Why do MORTGAGE Interest Rates go up EVERY time the Fed cuts rates?

Ive been watching for a while. In January rates were 5.125%, then that day the fed cut and rates went up to 5.5%, in a few minutes. It happens every time the fed cuts rates.....it seems if they just stay out of the way, consumers do well....every time they get involved it hurts ordinary…
