SIGCSE 2026 - Recruiting Reviewers!

One of the most important aspects of the SIGCSE Technical Symposium is the volunteer reviewers who provide feedback on submissions to the various tracks of the symposium. We need many people to step up to review the paper, tutorials, panel, and special session submissions during round 1 in July 2025, and Birds-of-a-Feather (BoF), poster, demo, lightning talk, student research competition, and nifty assignment submissions during round 2 in October 2025. We invite you to share your interest in reviewing or serving as an Associate Program Chair (APC) for SIGCSE TS 2026. APCs read the round 1 papers, facilitate conversations between the reviewers, and write meta reviews. Note that APCs do not write reviews themselves. From these conversations, the APCs make recommendations to the Program Chairs about accepting or rejecting papers on the main track. We will also need APCs for poster reviews during round 2. We'll follow up with a more formal confirmation, but we ask you to be patient as we select people for round 1 first. If you are available and interested for round 2, we will likely contact you in early summer 2025. We expect that paper reviewers will generally be asked to review 3–5 submissions. Reviewers can also indicate that they are willing to reviewer fewer submissions (1–2) or more (6–8). Since other tracks often involve shorter submissions, reviewers for those will generally be asked to review 7–9 submissions. Reviewers are expected to review the guidelines, spend appropriate time reading submissions, prepare helpful reviews, and participate in discussions. The timeline for reviewers of Round 1 submissions (Papers, Panels, Special Sessions, and Tutorials) will be: - Complete EasyChair profile: May 2025 - Bid on abstracts (papers): July 3 - July 14, 2025 - Review time frame: July 18 - Aug 4, 2025 - Discussion: August 5 - 10. 2025 - APC Recommendation Deadline: August 11, 2025 The timeline for reviewers of Round 2 submissions (ACM Student Research Competition, BoFs, Demos, Lightning Talks, Nifty Assignments, and Posters) will be: - Reviewing: Oct. 4 - Oct. 18, 2025 - Discussion (posters only): Oct. 18 - Nov. 24, 2025 In this form you may indicate your interest in helping with round 1 only, round 2 only, both, or either. We welcome as much help as you feel comfortable providing. Thank you so much for contributing your expertise and time to the SIGCSE Community! We can't pull this off without your help.
