Job Description: To accompany a new and exciting chapter of transformation and growth, we are looking for a Director of Tax of the AVIV Group with the opportunity to build up the group tax function. The Director of Tax is responsible for direction and overseeing the AVIV global and in particular German tax compliance. The Director of Tax will directly report to the CFO.  Your MissionBecome a forerunner of our transformation Responsible for all tax matters at Group level Coordination of tax compliance for most Group subsidiary companies nationally and internationally Keeping Up-To-Date of the Group wide transfer pricing policy for services and IPTax support for preparation/audit of consolidated financial statements (including deferred taxes, TRR)Tax due diligence support for investments and acquisitions Close collaboration with auditors, domestic and international external tax advisors and the internal audit and compliance teams Point person for communication and audits of the respective tax authorities  Qualifications: Your Profile: You are a leader with several years of work experience in a comparable role, either at a multi-national corporate or at an international accounting firm (tax consulting team) A proven track record of ensuring tax compliance, ideally in a publicly listed or large PE backed technology company Excellent leadership and communication skills and the experience of working effectively in an international organization across diverse businesses and cultures A business partner to the CFO and the broader executive leadership team Hands on working style, providing thoughtful analysis with clear recommendations and actively driving projects English language proficiency is a must, additional languages such as French and German relevant to our markets are a plus Additional Information: Benefits:30 days annual leave + 2 Volunteering days per yearHybrid or remote working optionsFlexible working hoursCompany pension scheme €58 public transport allowance€100 allowance for glassesA mix of Health and Wellbeing benefitsBicycle leasing (Job Rad)Berlin only - Subsidised canteen (3.50€/day)Berlin only - Kindergarten (employees need to request a place, it might take some time, about 6 months)Charity fundraisersLaptop (MacBook/Dell)Smartphone + Subscription (requires approval)Partnership with Urban Sports Club & Kyan HealthAbout AVIV Group :At AVIV, we are an equal opportunities employer and an organisation where everyone is welcomed to be their authentic selves.
