DP-Bind: a web server for sequence-based prediction of DNA binding residues in DNA binding proteins

This web-site represents an on-line application of three machine-learning methods to sequence-based prediction of DNA-binding interfaces in a DNA-binding protein. Only amino acid sequence of the query protein is required. The web-server automatically constructs PSI-BLAST PSSM for the query sequence and runs the three prediction mehtods. Outputs of the three individual methods are combined into consensus prediction to further improve performance. The server is located at the Gen*NY*sis Center for Excellence in Cancer Genomics, University at Albany, New York.
