Hello! My name is Marco Visconti. I am a lifelong student and practitioner of the Western Esoteric Tradition, with a particular focus on Thelema and the work of Aleister Crowley. Over the years, I’ve worn many masks. I began my journey in the industrial and electronic music scene, where I was a founding member of the band XP8 and performed with acts like Faderhead, Grendel, and VNV Nation. Eventually, I left the stage behind and followed the deeper call of initiation and gnosis. Originally from Rome, I relocated to London over a decade ago. There, I joined the team at Treadwell’s Books and immersed myself in the study of rare and arcane texts, further deepening my commitment to the occult arts. Since the late 1990s, I’ve been involved in various esoteric orders and initiatory lineages, including the A∴A∴, Ordo Templi Orientis, the Choronzon Club, and the Ecclesia Gnostica, where I now help steward a living tradition alongside a College of Bishops and Sophias. But in recent years, following hard-earned lessons and personal ordeals I’ve shared in my writings, I’ve come to believe that the age of secret orders is drawing to a close. The so-called “Secrets” have been revealed. The future lies not in gatekeeping, but in guiding. That’s why I created Magick Without Tears, my online school, where over 500 students have learned to build a rigorous, personal spiritual practice grounded in real experience, not hierarchy or dogma. No gurus. No prophets. No elitism. Just a shared commitment to the Work. Think of me as an esoteric personal trainer: someone who has walked the path for nearly three decades, and who now offers a lantern to those ready to take their first—or next—step.
