How do you find common denominators? - Answers
You can do it many ways- 1. Multiply the denominators together and then you get your answer. 2. List out the equivalent fractions against each other and then you keep going until you find one that has the same denominator. 3. You use the sock method. For Example: 1/4 and 1/2.four and two are the denominators. 4 and 2 can be divided by 2. 4 divided by 2= 2 and 2 divided by 2= 1. You can't go any farther so you multiply all the numbers. 2,2 and 1. That is 4. (Sorry if this is confusing but its better to do a visual) Hope the other ones helped though!
