Midnight And i scrolled and scrolled Through the months Since my words first fell From my mind to my phone To the ghosts of tumblr. And i think how silent This little life is This little Existence. I think how i wish Though i hate it For people to see my words, Like my words, Hear my painful words. I scroll through others months And years. Lives. At the very least I can hear their words For them. And then i see “New Poets Society. A showcase For newer and emerging poets. If you are a poet That could use help finding an audience Please feel free To submit your work To this blog.” Like its speaking directly to me Like suddenly This little existence, Little life, Need not be so silent After all.
