More Like Him: Formed in Suffering

Suffering is one of the most formative realities of the Christian life—something God uses to reveal where our trust truly lies and to shape us into Christlikeness. Throughout the Bible, those whom God used most deeply were also those who suffered most profoundly. While we cannot always know why suffering comes, we can anchor ourselves in what is true: that God is sovereign, good, and present with us even in the valley. Suffering, then, becomes the place where God builds endurance, forms Christlike character, and reminds us of our dependence on Him.
