Unlocking the Truth: Michael Politte

This case begins on Dec. 4, 1998, when-14-year-old Michael Politte, met up with his best friend Josh SanSoucie, they met up at a general store in the small town they lived, in Hopewell Missouri, as arranged. Michael invited Josh to sleep over so the two headed over to Michael's house to play video games. Around midnight, bored, they headed to the railroad tracks near Michael's house, Michael made a fire, which wasn’t unusual as it was something the kids in his neighborhood often did for fun. They didn’t stay long before going back to Michael's house. Around the same time Michael's mom, 40-year-old Rita Politte, got home from her job at a local bar. They all said goodnight and headed to bed.
