In 1987 a private investigator named Daniel Morgan was found dead in a pub car park with an axe still protruding from his head. The many inquiries, inquests, arrests, and trials revealed an incredible amount of corruption within the Metropolitan Police and many clear cover ups in this case. As a result, it has been nearly 4 decades now and no one has ever been convicted of this crime, likely because authorities did not want this case solved.
