This relative newcomer to the fight, having their base of operations in the south-eastern tip of the Arabian Peninsula, has been exchanging far-reaching blows with Israel which has finally resulted in an Israeli airstrike targeting most of the Houthi cabinet.Following on from this, the Netanyahu cabinet has expressed concern regarding Houthi retaliation possibly targeting Israeli ministers. With maritime movements to and from the port of Eilat virtually on hold, could this conflict escalate even further, towards a high-intensity war maybe even involving boots on the ground?
