What’s your setup? I have a Neumann TLM-102 condenser mic with a shockmount and pop filter.  I plug it with an XLR cable into an Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 preamp which connects to my computer.  For audio cleanup, I use Adobe Audition. For video editing, I use Sony Vegas. Some people have asked about cheap microphone/software recommendations.  If you just want to have fun, literally any microphone will do.  But if you want a good sound that’s affordable when you’re starting out, I can recommend the Samson CO1U from personal experience. As for editing/recording software, Audacity is free. Can I use any of the audio you put up in my own projects? Sure, as long as you credit me and link back to this Tumblr. If I hear about an audition for a project that I think would be a good fit for you, should I send you an ask?
