How do you do Mario wings to the sky on Mario 64? - Answers

When you have at least 8 stars a ray of light will appear right as you walk into the castle. To look at the ray of light you have to be Mario. Go up the stairs to room number 1. Then walk straight to the double doors on the red carpet. This room should give you access to the rec room game and have Toad in it. There is a door marked "8" enter this door and unlock the double doors to access Mario. Go back to the "lobby" and look into the ray of sunshine. In the sky, jump on the big RED button in the center of the course. This button will unlock all the ? boxes on any of the remaing courses. In the mario wings to the sky star, use the cannon that is closest to where the turtle is walking around. Shoot yourself up to the floating island. Get wings from the "?" box and get into the cannon on the island. Finally, get all the coins in the CENTER of the coin rings. Then you can get the star...it took me fOrEvEr to figure this out. Because in 64 version you always have Mario, but you can claim that you are playing as another guy by using color code (only works for emulators.))
