That ladies and gentlemen is Snorlax.To wake him up in FireRed, LeafGreen..and all the original Kanto games you simply find the PokeFlute from somone on the bridge outside of Lavender Town. (Most likely a fisherman. They are nice fellows) Go to Snorlax and play said PokeFlute in front of it. It will get all O:< and wake up.In HG/SS it's a little different.Go to your Pokegear and go to the Radio Card. Search around on the top area of it until you find the PokeFlute channel. Go up to the Snorlax and Press A while playing the PokeFlute channel. Again, he will get all O:< and wake up. It is level 50 btw. Sometimes they have different abilities (mine has Thick Fat instead of the loafing around ability it usually has along with Slaking.) or they can be holding items (Leftovers!
