Chuck Kallenbach on 1979 SEMI-FINALIST

Just listened to the Cryptid Creator Corner, great interview (and interviewer). I love the story about where Jeff came from, and I found out some new things, very cool. The most perfect meta thing ever was when Gwen said, "my books always get canceled," so she gave Jeff to Deadpool. That is just quintessential Gwenpool. So weird that both Jeff (background character) and Gwenpool (variant joke cover by Chris Bachalo) have become fascinating characters. You mentioned that Jeff and AWW were... I think you said most popular two things you have done? I get the Jeff part, but I guess AWW is that Wonder Woman just has a huge built in readership, more than Captain Marvel or Birds of Prey? One more thing... you were talking about Diana's magic arm not working sometimes, reminded me of the TTRPG TORG, which had areas of different tech levels, so your airplane would crash if it few over a more primitive tech. Which was fun.
