Gotinne, by Adam Sandosa
Gotinne by Adam Sandosa, released 06 August 2024 1. Study 1: Electric Guitar and Synthesizer 2. Study 2: Electric Guitar 3. Study 3: Drum Machine and Synthesizer 4. Study 4: Drum Machine 5. Study 5: Bass Guitar 6. Study 6: Synthesizer 7. Study 7: Bass Guitar Gotinne, a word from Middle High German, is the title of the brand new 2024 Adam Sandosa album. I started out in the Polish cassette underground in 1998 as Adam Sandosa. I've been recording tapes with simple folk/punk/blues/psychedelic songs, inspired by Syd Barrett, Velvet Underground, Monster Magnet, Woody Guthrie, Sawyer Brown, and Captain Beefheart. Those are the influences I remember today. The pseudonym I was using back then, Adam Sandosa, was taken from the first Amon Duul LP, "Psychedelic Underground". You can listen to one surviving tape from 1998 at https://adammajdecki-janicki.bandcamp.com/album/adam-sandosa Now, 26 years later, I have started research for a serious electroacoustic composition, called "Gotinne". The album I'm sharing here now is a result of the first "Gotinne" improvised sessions. From those sessions, I will draw inspiration and sound material for the bigger composition. "Gotinne" was recorded in three days on simple equipment. I used electric guitar, bass guitar, synthesizer, and drum machines. The studies are interesting as their own compositions, and this is why I have decided to release the sessions. Get in a meditative mood, and enjoy the cosmic vibrations.
