I read Margot and The Wedding People back to back, too (and loved them). I also picked up both of them thinking they would be light and fluffy, but quickly found myself wrapped up in their depth and unexpected poignancy and moved by the unlikely friendships (my favorite kind of story) When I mentioned how much I liked The Wedding People, someone recommended Alison Espach's other book, Notes On Your Sudden Disappearance. Have you read it? Holy moly. It's stunning. I'm still thinking about it.
