He Runs Rings Around Them In the spirit of the DIY nonsense that ARMY of MOTHS perpetually insist upon chucking at their long suffering sympathisers, 'Four by Two' are some songs that whilst absolutely lacking in studio polished perfection....or in fact any sense of professionalism whatsoever, are essentially typical of their approach to things. Not songs 'rejected' from the new album, but just not on it, and unlikely to ever be heard otherwise. Never to be confused with 'playing the game' or taking themselves (or anything else) too seriously, they present a bunch of home demos of chaotic sounding pop music that could only be found acceptable in THEIR world....for that is the only world THEY know. Surely, only fools would release odd demos of songs that no one has expressed any interest in, instead of waiting to release their lovely new, polished album that's taken lots of time to record? You'd be right to think so...and THAT is essentially ARMY of MOTHS. However, here they are...presented to you as a bunch of their 'home demo things'.
