I think both sides do this. The standard way the left and right talk past one another is, you must vaccinate in order to save yourself and those around you, and the right response is: then why did you let in all the illegals without them being vaccinated? This was one side owning the other. Still no actual talk if the vaccine was effective, or that the vaccine should have been mandated at all. Notice how neither side really addresses the issue, and how both sides, you could logically deduct that the virus was bad enough to warrant these questions. Neither side addresses the issue which is that there was never a novel deadly virus, and that it required a vaccine at all.
