No, but I will look at it. My point was that we have roots as a Christian society, but are now totally secular. The secular humanist view depends on an atheistic/materialist worldview: all that exists is matter, energy, space, & time. There is no immaterial (non-physical) as it is mandatorily excluded from such a worldview. In such a framework you can’t really have a “mind” as the mind is immaterial, it has no physical properties. They speak of “brain.” Such a worldview fits PERFECTLY with a Pharma goal that every problem has a chemical solution. Psychiatry has been deeply corrupted by such a view, minimizing psychotherapeutic modalities. They have lost the mind by focusing on the brain. Ok - I am obviously going to have to start my Substack! It’s easier to just post comments, but then I have too much to share. How about this as a topic: the brain is the organ through which the mind interacts with the physical world. Implications ...
