Melita Beckett on from an evil woman
This is great! A really clear guide. Back in the 90s, when I first became a feminist, I had this moment of realisation: most of the books in my bookshelf (or that I'd read elsewhere) were by or about men. So I decided I was only going to read about women or books written by women for a long time, to make up for that. It was great! Then when at uni, my area of scholarship focused on feminist artists and women composers and musicology. It's so rewarding to decentre men.
