Thank you for this, you’ve summed up many of my sentiments exactly. I’m a fellow EDS zebra (and Virgo too 😁), and I’ve heard the same vitriol about my disabilities. I don’t know what it is that makes these people so mad or emboldened to unload their ableist thoughts and opinions on us. Is it that they don’t like to think about pain or discomfort? I’ve even heard it from family members (maybe most from them), and I just want to say to them, having a disability is not a personality flaw! But they treat it like it is, and that it’s my fault or something I should work on and fix. But thank you for using your platform to share this. Keep traveling and using the accommodations that are your right! I hope you’ve recovered from this trip, I know it takes a toll. Virgo zebra solidarity!!😄
