This page contains the reference for DuckDB's C API. The reference contains several deprecation notices. These concern methods whose long-term availability is not guaranteed as they may be removed in the future. That said, DuckDB's developers plan to carry out deprecations slowly as several of the deprecated methods do not yet have a fully functional alternative. Therefore, they will not removed before the alternative is available, and even then, there will be a grace period of a few minor versions before removing them.
