Sabine Hagenauer on Footnotes and Tangents

Ah, for me, finding anachronisms is part of the fun. Plants are more niche than clothes, though, and therefore even more fun. I wonder if and how knowledge of the horrific mob violence during the French Revolution has affected later attitudes towards both the organisation of uprisings and mitigating crowd control efforts. I’ve given up on the concept of “learning from history”, but maybe that did hav an effect.
