I invite you to read "The Self-organizing Universe" by Erich Jantsch. Written all the way back in the 1970s it comprehensively defines autopoesis with references to a few other heavyweights like Ervin Lazlo. There are more whontackle the outlines of a systems view but fall short of your everyday approach to inserting us into it. It's hard to define a system you are a part of and have very poor perception and insight to the parts which constantly change. We just have to have faith in the end.
