Welcome to Glass Mountain's Online HubHere you can submit your work for consideration in future publications. Please make your selection from the options below.Glass Mountain publishes two volumes a year, once in the spring and once in the fall.Submission Guidelines· We currently accept previously unpublished submissions from any undergraduate or emerging artist. . To be considered an emerging artist, you must not have attended, graduated from, or be currently enrolled in an MFA or PhD Creative Writing program. Publication or forthcoming publication of a full-length poetry collection, book, novel, short story collection, or other substantive work will disqualify your submission. Additionally, numerous publications, chapbooks, or writing awards may disqualify your work from consideration, regardless of your formal education. This is at the Editor's discretion; please use your best judgment when considering whether to submit.· We accept submissions year-round, and read during the academic year. There are cut off deadlines for Fall and Spring issues; anything submitted past these deadlines, which are decided at the start of each semester, will be automatically considered for the next issue. We look for outstanding fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, art, and everything in between—surprise us!  · Acceptable formats and specific guidelines for each genre can be found in their respective categories. · All submissions must include a cover letter with the following information: artist’s full name, mailing address, email, and genre. In your cover letter, be sure to include a brief (50-100 word) third-person bio to tell us about yourself and any previous publications. . If you are an undergraduate student submitting only as part of a graded assignment or to fulfill a course requirement, please indicate this in your cover letter. Submissions that appear to be class assignments will be declined at the Editor's discretion.· You may submit more than one piece at a time, but pay close attention to the guidelines. We accept simultaneous submissions, though we ask that you notify us ASAP if your work is accepted elsewhere.
