This site has been set up for those that worked at Ditton Park so that renewed friendships may be maintained. On the 2nd October 2004 almost 250 people assembled at *DITTON PARK* to renew friendships with past colleagues of the research facility known over the years as firstly the *RADIO RESEARCH STATION* *(RRS)* , then the *RADIO & SPACE RESEARCH STATION (RSRS)* and finally as the *APPLETON LABORATORY (AL)*. In 1979 the *AL* merged with the RUTHERFORD LABORATORY (RL) and in 1981 moved to Chilton (Oxfordshire) to form the *RUTHERFORD APPLETON LABORATORY* ( *RAL)*. *This site has been set up for those that worked at Ditton Park so that renewed friendships may be maintained.
