Hi Jon, only just got on to substack and looking at your old posts. I preordered these three, even though my youngest was 4 at the time so maybe not the intended audience, but all of us are fans of your work. Can confirm that these board books are lovely to hold, good size and feel high quality. I find the stories emotionally touching, the idea of, this story here is for you, these items are yours. I like the idea that I'm reading this to my child before bed and I am giving them this tool of imagination. These are yours, they are there for you and you can imagine what you want. It's a type of gift and also encouragement. My youngest is now 5 and is learning to read, and this series of books I do use to help that process, so maybe I was wrong on the intended audience after all. We all especially like the nice ghost 👻
