Bill LaVallee on Bullock's Film Room

I already watched your breakdowns of Josh’s and Trey‘s tapes with George. Great job! I don’t know how you manage to do that, keeping your analysis going smoothly for that length of time. Quite a skill! We gotta get you out there into even bigger venues to share your knowledge and information!💪 Here’s a shocker; I think A P & Co. did a great job in this draft with the limited number of picks they had. I have to admit though that I was a little flummoxed when they went with Josh Jr. with the 29th pick! I was totally expecting them to go edge rusher or CB there. And even if they did go OT, I had my mind set on the other Josh, Simmons, over Connerly Jr. But I am (ever so predictably😜) warming up to the idea of JCJ72 being the right one to bolster the offensive line. Trey was someone we were all with you in keeping an eye on as the 2nd round progressed. It was a relief to see him still there at 61 (even though we were tossing Landon Jackson out as a possibility!). He should have immediate impact. Of the day 3 picks, the only one I’d heard a squat about was Kain (courtesy of LP_82). The names Lane & Crowley-Merritt rang no bells for me, so I’m glad you’ve been able to fill us in with some helpful tape on both of them. Those “experts” I’ve heard comment on them (as well as Kain) ranged from the positive, from those who had a vision for what they could become, to the negative from those who fixated only on their perceived shortcomings. (I prefer the positives; those who see what these guys might blossom into, given time & coaching.)
