One is that I remember that a lot of commenters were concerned with Jaden’s being 23 years old when he was picked in last year’s draft. Here, a year later, I realize that he was practically a kid compared to some of this year‘s draftees ages. There were more 23, 24, even 25 than I would have ever expected. Not only were there a greater abundance of seniors than I can recall before, but there were a bunch of 5th (including the Comms’ JL83 & KM56) year and - even 6th year (JCM32)- seniors! I guess still being able to take advantage of that extra “Covid year” - (combined with the NIL money some of the guys are making?) allowed some guys to stick around and up their games more than anytime in the past. Is this going to result in players “aging out” of NFL careers even sooner than before? I imagine that Covid year phenomenon pretty much gone and that we should be returning to more normal age groups in the future draft.
