How do you get y by itself in this equation xy3? - Answers
well due to the fact you didn't provide me with an answer in the equasion we will make the answer 3 (for no particular reason) 1st write the answer in true form (thats what i like to call it): x*y*3=3 2nd divide the answer by 3: x*y=3/3 (aka 1) 3rd divide 1 by x: y=1/x so the way you would want to write it is: y= one over x (in a fraction form) (i tried to show it but when i hit save it took out all the spaces so it looked bad)
