How do you Find the average of 12 17 and 61? - Answers

Hello. I am truly hoping that my late math teacher, in baron byng high school in montreal, might be smiling down on me...... First in grade school and then in high school. Very simply. Add all of these numbers together, then divide by 3 ..................... 61 plus 17 and 12 adds up to 90.................divide by 3 ( because you are working with 3 numbers) and thus, the average is 30 ( thirty ) hopefully this is still correct. Even back to the late 1 9 50 's.
