You could use a graphing calculator.. or.. if you have 2 functions... get y (or x) on one side like: y = blah blah blah then get the other equation to do that too. Now you have two equations that equal to y. so now you get y = equation A, and y = equation B and put them together. Like so: equation A = equation B Now you solve for x, I'll assume you know how. If there are absolute values, you'll have to do more work though. Now you found the points of intersection!
