E.g. 12 X 3/4 = 36/4 = 9 Or In the opposite order AND with an improper fraction to show it still works: E.g. 45 X 7/5 = 9 X 7 (cancelling the 5 & 45 first is easier than "45 X 7 then divide by 5") = 63. (A "faction" is a group within a larger community holding a particular, strong view. There are many who'd happily divide factions!)
