Felipe Castro) In 2013, Pinaud had some ideas for tracks and summoned fellow producer Felipe Castro to record a beat tape. The sessions that followed resulted in five semi-finished tracks named Telephunk, which ended up forgotten in time. Fast forward to 2018, Baphyphyna Records received this material and immediately took an interest in its old-school electronic beats, acoustic guitars, seemlessly crafted samples and scratches. The only vocals already recorded were in the beautiful opening track "Breathing Sound" featuring Swedish singer Mago voxX and Pinaud himself with rap verses in Portuguese. The label helped with editing, the artist overdubbed flutes by Felipe Pinaud on "Rolando", added Gilber T's guitars to all the tracks, and ÉRICA's vocals on "Love Story", taking the material to the next level: something jazzy, loungy and sophisticated.
