Can torterra beat Infernape? - Answers

Well, according to the type of Pokemon Infernape is no. But, some people can beat fire types with grass types if you train your Pokemon really hard and get special moves to wipe out the fire Pokemon. I had my Infernape once, who's name is Ember, battle against my friend's Torterra. We both wanted to have a little showdown and I thought I'd win, but I was wrong. My Infernape had used her special move, Ember, and it hit. It did some damage but when the Torterra attacked, it used Frenzy and my Ember fainted. Like I said, even though you have a type disadvangted, don't let it get you down. I have a charmeleon named Blaze on Firered and I went up against Misty and beat her with only 1hp remaining.
