Yes. Video Games do very much affect your heart rate and usually blood pressure. Obviously the more active you are while playing with increase your heart rate, but a more physical game system like Wii or Kinect will ensue with higher activity level and a quicker heart rate. But the contrary does not ring true. Because even if you are just sitting there using a controller or hang held system you may be come excited or aggravated which in turn would cause your heart rate to rise. The same is with in-game anxiety.
