Thank you for writing this from your perspective. So good! I teach high school and these topics come up often. I had one kid tell me last year the alcohol made him relax and be more sociable and confident, not as shy around women. We had a family friend age 24 die from alcohol poisoning in May of this year. She had been through rehab in November and had a relapse. Her body just couldn't handle it. Alcohol is so destructive. I have never been able to see anything good from it and have remained alcohol-free my entire life. My mom's dad was an alcoholic. He died from being shot in the head during a poker game. I have a great life and I love being around people and remembering our conversations and my actions. I've never seen a good side of alcohol. It's just another drug to take the place of true healing and replace God. Jesus and his gospel are my drug of choice! 😂😜
