Beyond the Hill *LOW INCOME CUSTOMER SUPPORT If you come from a low income household, we are happy to offer you a free download code for this album. Hailing from the historical and magical area of Somerset in England, Sergeant Thunderhoof have yet again delved deep in to local history, mythology and folklore to deliver their most focussed album to date. ‘The Ghost of Badon Hill’ is a true conceptual piece, set in the 4th Century AD and positively charged with raw emotion and Arthurian mysticism. "An absolute modern day rock masterpiece" - Desert Psychlist “A jaw-dropping release that tops even the magnificence of This Sceptred Veil.” - The Sleeping Shaman “The Ghost of Badon Hill is an incredible album that leaves you wanting more. The Somerset quintet just don’t miss. 9/10” - Distorted Sound “A stirring and stunning listen. 8/10” - Metal Hammer “Consistently brilliant, Sergeant Thunderhoof have, once again, delivered something truly special. 9/10” - GBHBL “Six utterly stellar tracks. One of the very best creations that 2024 has thrown our way by far” - Head Banger Reviews "This opus is one of the best Hard Rock releases this year. 10/10” - Metal Gods Meltdown “Pure enjoyment as a listener. Absolute world class” - Rock Portaal “A cohesive and fascinating concept. Sergeant Thunderhoof at their most concentrated and powerful.” - Amplify The Noise “Simply brilliant, a meandering heartfelt journey that flows organically and is instantly compelling.” - The Miserable Metal Mind Podcast “The Ghost of Badon Hill is classic doom with psychedelic flourishes scattered throughout. A monumental effort from a band who deserve much more. 9/10” - Ghost Cult Magazine “Every song is an exemplar of Sergeant Thunderhoof’s extremely personable style, and The Ghost of Badon Hill puts forward some of the strongest material in this sort of genre that I’ve heard. Essential listening.” - Wonderbox Metal “The Ghost of Badon Hill is a mission accomplished for Sergeant Thunderhoof. A great new album, reigned in a little timewise, but sonically still delivering a cerebral and visceral punch. Another Top 10 contender, no problem.” - Ever Metal “The Ghost Of Badon Hill is a rich, absolutely captivating, obsessing tome. 9/10” - Ave Noctum “If you love Sabbath, Cathedral and Paradise Lost, I guarantee you’ll love Sergeant Thunderhoof. The band really have excelled themselves here.” – RPM Online “They have yet again crafted what can only be considered one of the very best creations that 2024 has thrown our way by far.” – Head Banger Reviews “The Ghost of Badon Hill should certainly be hailed as a musical victory, a resplendent feather in Sergeant Thunderhoof's cap!” – Novocaine “From the moment I heard this album, it stays with me still. And I think I will remain here. Listening to it all. Again and again. Up on the hill. 5/5” – Stoner Hive “The Ghost Of Badon Hill is another masterpiece of a record from Sergeant Thunderhoof, they’ve not only followed up their last record but surpassed it. 10/10” – Musipedia of Metal “The Ghost Of Badon Hill is going to be considered one of the landmark albums to own this year. These guys are on the verge of true greatness and this maybe the album solidifies that reputation once and for all.” – Outlaws of the Sun “Sergeant Thunderhoof have amply demonstrated they have everything to move them to the upper echelon of heavy progressive, emotive hard rock and metal. The Ghost of Badon Hill not only solidifies that standing, but brushes off even more of the wannabes and pretenders to the throne.” – Nine Circles “'The Ghost of Badon Hill' is story-rich, textured and immersive. It grabs us in from the first note and does not let go.” – Out of Rage
