Huh. I never felt like there was any stigma around Dataform; it was just kinda...absent. (Of course, it may have been absent because of that stigma, which I just missed.) And on fragmentation, I hear that, though it's always kind of like it's something that sounds better than it is. I can choose all my favorite parts and only the parts I want; seems great. But also, making decisions is hard; most things are probably fine; gluing stuff together is a pain; etc. These pains are probably worth it to avoid some Windows/IE situation, but I'm not sure they're worth it to choose, like, a GCP service over it's AWS one.
