Hi Victoria, it’s Tim! Looking at the reviews from your angle, that may very well be true but it leaves me asking: why only five films and those ones in particular? This leads me to your second point: judging by the Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind review I think it points towards the human condition. Could it be corrupting, transfiguring or unbearable to those who do not possess human flesh? I don’t know and I hope you or anyone else could help me figure this out! Still, more signals reach the lighthouse. With each one I am beginning to question whether they can be judged in isolation or as a collective. I hope that with a bigger picture of what the DSN (Deep Space Network) has to offer we can answer all of the questions our reviewer has left for us.
