Yeah I think that is something that has become quite common in New Who. Capaldi is my favorite Doctor. But I remember when his seasons were airing many people tuned out or did not like him. I think that might have been the abrupt change in personalities between him and the 11th. Still people are coming back to those season now and appreciating them for how good they actually are. I think Jodie might get the same treatment. While I personally am not a huge fan of her seasons I bet she will see a renaissance eventually like Capaldi did.
