Hi Mark I’m new on here but like to write about slightly obscure history, philosophy, literature and often mix it with current affairs. This week my focus was on the latter, but I combined it with a reference to a book about power with lots of historical references. The week before it was a review of Salman Rushdie’s book ‘Knife’ and why it matters so much given the threat to democracy. I liked your article about getting more out of Substack too. Very useful.
