As a Floridian I personally have remained a tad cynical & skeptical of MAGA due to being a conservative Ron DeSantis supporter. I’ve never been “in the bag” because I’m less populist & more American conservative in the true sense of the word. I’m also anti-IVF & abolitionist. So I’m less surprised by this than many. I’m more surprised that people think MAGA will be conservative or that it has principles. It’s an opportunistic & reactive movement in my view.
