You had me at finding out why Jose' and Rose don't rhyme ... I was born in this country, but I didn't speak till I was 3 1/2. I was in kindergarten a year too early, with learning disabilities, undiagnosed, untreated, unrecognized until I was nearly 40 years old. I still have problems with CH and SH, I have dyslexia, dysgraphia, like many writers. We share more in common, you and I, then one would guess. I loved your words, your passion, you're beautiful flowing prose. It has taken me a lifetime to get here, and though I regret I do not have much time left, for I am 70 years old, I do not lament ... much. ❤️
